We offer the very best Eastern Oregon hay and alfalfa available, and keep hay in front of your horse 24-7 with our built-in corner feeder system. Our stalls are cleaned daily and fresh shavings used to keep your horse cozy and clean. Turnout is in small groups (3-4 horses) at a time based on their personalities. We have 24 peaceful acres and are surrounded by farmland...a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of town!

We love what we do and we love animals! With over 30 years experience caring for horses, you can enjoy peace of mind that your horse is well-fed, happy and content at our farm. We are Heidi and Brian-- a husband/wife team who live on the premises. We also love to trail ride! Join us for a weekend trail ride at our Sisters, Oregon farm complete with paddocks, RV hookup and bunkhouse!

Every customer is unique. That’s why we customize every one of our equine care plans to fit your and your horse's needs. If you like spending more time with your horse, you will love our relaxed casual atmosphere!. If you are busy and need us to take care of everything, we can do that too! , We feed your horse morning and night and turn out/in at no extra charge.
Safety is our goal
Our 12 x 12 matted stalls are extra tall, giving more head room for your horse to enjoy visiting. Stall latches are escape-proof, and blankets and halters hang across aisle along with ample locking storage for each boarder. Each stall opens to an outside sanded run with safe pipe fencing. Our matted grooming stalls equipped with cross ties are perfect for tacking up!
Quality Guaranteed
Our barn is well-ventilated all year round for excellent equine health. Our dripstop roofing prevents condensation drips on your horse during the winter. State of the art LED lights with dimmers are present in aisles and our well-maintained 72' x 144' arena. Our arena has a sandy loam/mason sand mix and is watered and harrowed on a regular basis. We also have an outdoor arena which measures 80' x 160' has sand footing, and is set up with trail challenge obstacles! We have some on-property trails and hill-climbs as well.
Canter Ridge pasture turn-outs make for a happy & healthy horse!
At Canter Ridge, we believe in fresh air and green grass for your horse, so we provide large pasture turn-outs with solid wood fencing. Since we have water rights, we are allowed to irrigate our fields to keep them green and healthy even in the hot summer. Our rotational program allows your horse to graze at intervals optimum to their health. We have turn-out available year-round but minimize in rainy, winter months so we don't muddy-up our fields and we can keep them viable for Spring.
We also offer summer pasture riding for you to take a break from the arena training after horses are brought in.
